October 2010 The 'cutbacks' short film 'Mister Heaney, a wee portrait' has been accepted into competition for the 2010 Foyle Film Festival, the 2010 Corona Cork Film Festival and the 2010 Clones Film Festival. The Cork Film Festival will also show the film in Liverpool (Cork Film Festival on Tour).
September 2010 Cutbacks is back in production, with new characters (including Ivor Callely, Brian Lenihan) to add to the old favourites - Cowen, Heaney, Colm Mc Carthy, Wayne Rooney et al.
July 2010 - Galway Film Fleadh Winner! The 'cutbacks' short film 'Mister Heaney, a wee portrait' has won the James Horgan Memorial Prize for Best Animation at Galway Film Fleadh! Hopefully, the film will manage to get into a few more festivals, at home and abroad over the next few months. 180510 Mister Heaney - a wee portrait A cutbacks.ie Seamus Heaney film (5 minutes duration) is nearing completion. A rough cut has already been entered into some festivals (fingers crossed).
